Okay I demolished this book. I could not put it down. I am normally a spicy fantasy reader, but after reading Fate Hollow by Winters I had to pick this up. I reread the first book before diving into term 2 and UGHHHHHH I just love these characters.
We have our FMC Pandora who is obviously a smoke show. She is also a bad ass and is learning how to control her powers more and more. Then we have Hunter and Reed, two of her mates, who are supportive and loving. Then our three enemy to lover characters in Dex, Bram, and Skel. I am obsessed with Dex and Skel. I think their characters are absolutely awesome and I understood their different view points in the first book so their reactions and actions in term 2 made sense to me. Bram is so difficult for me to understand. He hates nobility, but Pandora is so clearly not nobility, I don’t know he just has issues. I mean they all do, but Bram is starting to make some progress in Term 2 so I hope Term 3 turns the tides for me on his character.
I really loved this book and all of the ways Pandora’s men started to show up for her, but she is still a bad ass. Winters is definitely one of my favorite authors of this year!!
