FAVORITE BOOK OF NOVEMBER
Her Psycho Beasts
So I FLEW through this book. I have this strange ability to look past weird things in stories (of which this one had a HUGE line crossing premiss) so I actually enjoyed this book more than I thought I would.
I absolutely loved this book!
New Orleans has always held such a rich history in the paranormal and I thought Lee did a great job of bringing Fae to that history. Cate is our FMC and man do I love her. She is stubborn, stunning, sassy, and honestly handles herself better than I could in many of the situations she finds herself in. Lachlan Gage is the FMC and he is dark, stormy, and altogether dangerous. What more could we want?!
I thought this book was a bit underwhelming. Charlotte’s openness to trying new things was refreshing and the idea of sexual openness and curiosity in Cate’s universe is keeping me reading her Salacious Players Club series.
I totally thought this book was going to be dark and twisted when I read the title. Where is was lacking in darkness it more than made up with twisted relationships. Ever, the FMC, goes on a trip after high school to Spain and meets Joe. They have an instant connection and then lose touch with each other when Ever has a traumatic experience.
